After attending this year’s NACWAA Convention in Atlanta a group of us were interested in creating a Boston based network of women athletic administrators.  For those of you who have had the ability to attend the NACWAA Convention you know what a valuable experience it is and how it provides its members with excellent professional development workshops and social events to help build and sustain networking and collaboration.  Our goal would be to provide much of the same locally, on a monthly basis.

 

There are a large amount of women administrators in the Boston area and it would be great to begin to build a local community in which we can support one another.  Since this is in the beginning stages we were hoping to receive feedback and ideas from all of you letting us know if you’re interested and how we can best make this work.  The initial idea is to form a group in which we meet to discuss current topics, bring in guest speakers on challenging issues, and provide avenues of professional development.  If we have left anyone off this list please feel free to send along this invitation.
